Questions for the paratroopers (for HPQ) (see additional information)
Dear Sir/Madam,
My name is Alex, a Year 9 student, currently working on my HPQ (Higher Project Qualification) at school. The subject I chose to work on was the paratroopers since they always interested me. My project aims to explore different aspects of the Paratroopers, including their operations, recent deployments, experiences in conflict, initial training (P Company, Basic Infantry training, Jump Course) and the life of a Para. I understand that my request is quite complex, but I would greatly appreciate your help in answering these questions for me, to assist my project and it's final goals.
Thank you for your time.
Best regards,
Alex

When doing foundation training is the best time to apply to become a medical officer?
I'm a medical student in my final year and I hope to join after my foundation years. When during FY1/2 is it best to submit my application? I decided on this relatively late in medical school, so I believe the bursar route isn't an option for me.
I am worried that the application process will be difficult to juggle with the stress and demands of foundation training, especially finding the time to attend interviews, medicals etc (I've already passed my medical for the UOTC, if that counts for anything?) If you have any ideas or advice about this, I'm all ears!
Also, if you think that there's anything I can do during what I have left of medical school to make my application stronger, or to lessen the burden down the line, I'd love to hear about it. Thanks!

What does phase 2 training consist of for a Movement Controller?
On the Army website the only information given is a Class 3 course over 4 weeks at Brize Norton and work towards an apprenticeship. Is there any more details that can be given as this seems like a rather short period of time for training and want to make sure I know all I can for assessment centre.
