Got rejected due to past mental health and Level 1 ASD. Was never on meds for it. What are my odds of passing an appeal?

There is a minimum time frame that they tend to look at for conditions and medications. This varies depending on type and severity and can range between 1-5 years unless otherwise stated by the doctor as permanently medically unfit, meaning you cant join.

Appeals are looked at on a case by case basis and are reviewed by a board of doctors as opposed to an individual. They will look at your case in more detail as opposed to a limitation criteria and will vote on overall outcome. Although it will be impossible to say chances of success for your individual case there still may be a chance especially if you were able to provide further medical evidence (FME) in your favour to suggest it does not affect you in any way. This would need to be in writing from a doctor after an assessment has taken place.

Ultimately the final decision rests with the board and outcome will be final. unless a criteria is set.
