Hi, many individuals within the army are married or partners with another person who's also serving. For females as an example it is more common to be with a serving person than not. Personally i was with someone who was serving for 15 years and we made it work (it wasn't because of the army that we got divorced) despite being in different capbadges. My current partner is also serving, not in my capbadge and we are also currently living together. If you register yourself in a Long Term Relationship you are entitled to exactly the same as someone who's married and your career managers will also talk to each other about postings either together or as near as they can possibly make it. I hope that gives you a bit of peace of mind.
