Following promotion to sergeant, typically with a minimum of 6-8 years of service and assignment to 11 EOD & Search Regiment, you would undertake enrolment in the Defence EOD NO.1 operator course. Preceding this, you would have completed the No.2 course while serving as a Lance Corporal or Corporal.

Would you be able to Apply as a Lance Corporal or Upon Joining?
Because my Local Reserve Centre and Information Carrer Centre has told me that upon joining Harrogate , I will have an opportunity to take said path?

Hi,
Ammunition Technicians promote to Lance Corporal on completion of their trade training. So, you wouldn't join as a LCpl, but you'd be one by the time you finish training.
