Main motivation

One of the main reasons I wanted to join the Army was to be able to travel the world whist getting paid to do so. I have travelled to a number of countries that I would never have been to without the Army, from Belgium to Oman, to Kosovo and Italy. I’ve also managed to go away and Ski, Snorkel, Rock climb and Kayak.

Greatest achievement
Only an individual who has completed the 14 weeks of training can understand what standing on a parade square, feels like. You are stood on a square with people you didn’t know 14 weeks ago, who you have spent every second, of everyday with, who are now your mates, in front of your family and friends.
