About Phil H.

Current position
I have been in the British Army for 13 years, as a vehicle mechanic in the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (REME). I am currently employed as a Section Commander at MOD Lyneham, Phase Two REME. Being able to mentor and shape the future leaders of the Corps is immensely rewarding.
Main motivation
My job is challenging, flexible, transparent and rewarding. If you ask for courage, you won't be given courage, but the opportunity to be courageous.

Greatest achievement
Being able to work alongside some of the best friends that I have made during my time in the Army, in some of the most challenging environments, coming together through the tough times and getting the job done as a team.
