"I think its really important in life to put yourself forward for opportunities for personal development and to help you identify what you enjoy doing. It doesn't matter if you try something and it doesn't work out, the most important thing is that you have tried it. My favourite quote is 'Never try, never know'."

About Claire W.

Main motivation

The marketing team work together to get real life stories out there, either on our website or through social media, so candidates can get a real feel for what being a soldier or officer is like. We also arrange many events which allow potential candidates to meet serving soldiers (virtually or F2F) and ask any question they have about a career in the Army. Its really rewarding to be in a position where we can provide everyone with the advice and tools they need to make an informed decision.

Greatest achievement
Since starting with Recruiting Group I have applied for two secondments in areas I had no previous experience working in. I was successful in getting both roles, proving that with the right attitude you can venture into an area of unknown, armed with the desire to learn and grow.

PCOS-Medicals

Hello Claire, I am looking to apply for the Army. I was recently diagnosed of PCOS. Very mild, my hormones are very okay, the only sysmptoms is multiple ovarian cyst and absent/irrregular menstrual flow. My question is, could this be a reason for rejection? Thank you.
