Freddie M. asked a question to Rob H.
Hello and thank you for your question. This really depends on if you have leave accrued by the time you want to take it off. Your leave requests during basic training will be approved on a case-by-case basis so make sure to flag it straight away to your chain of command so they can try best to accommodate it for you.
Good luck with everything 😀
While in basic training, you will be unable to take personal leave, other than compassionate leave, that may be granted by your chain of command.
Basic training is fast paced, Taking days or weeks off will set you back. Once you have completed basic training and phase 2 trade training, you will be able to take personal leave, which will need to be agreed by your chain of command.
I am from Iraq and I want to work with the British government and I am ready for anything you ask of me even if this thing or action is against the interests of my country. I hope you will consider this request of mine and take the matter very seriously.
