Thank for your question and your interest in joining the Guards - what a rewarding role.
You can request what regiment you would like to join following basic training and where possible the Army will try and meet your request, but there will be times when soldiers don't get there first request, as other regiments may need you more. So please do keep this in mind.
This doesn't mean you will be in that Regiment your entire career, so don't let that put you off 😊
