Anonymous asked a question to Nana A.
Hello Nana! What are your thoughts about this: Is it allowed or is it a no-no if commonwealth applicants proceed with selecting any of the available ( yet merited ) officer roles after having successfully passed the army assessment test designated for soldier specific roles?
Hello, thank you very much for your question. For commonwealth applicants considering the officer role, they must meet specific eligibility criteria, including academic qualifications, residency requirements and leadership potential. Passing the soldier specific assessment is great achievement, but officer roles requires additional steps, such as passing the Army Officer Selection Board (AOSB). If you require more information about the eligibility and requirement for joining the officer role, please visit jobs.army.mod.uk. I hope this answers your question, the meantime if you have any more questions to ask, I will be more than happy to assist you. Thank you! 🙂
