Applying to the Army Foundation College (AFC) Harrogate is a great step if you're looking to start your military career at a young age. To apply, you need to be between 16 and 17 years and 5 months old when you start the course. Begin your application online through the British Army's official recruitment website. After submitting your application, you'll be invited to your nearest Army Career Centre for an initial briefing and to discuss your options. To apply for Army Foundation College Harrogate you need to be between the age of 16 and 17 and a half years old. You would of also needed to of sat your GCSE's. You can start your application at the age of 15 and 7 months. You will need to apply online. You will then receive a phone call inviting you in for an Army brief and individual careers discussion. The application process can take anywhere between 3-9 months on average.

You can apply anytime throughout the year. There are 2 intakes for Harrogate per year. 1 in September, the other is in March.
