    Hi Oliver,

You can apply using this link https://apply.army.mod.uk/login

You will need to create an account following some eligibility questions and then you can submit an application. From there your local Army Careers Centre will call you to look at getting you booked onto some events.

    Warm Regards,

    Hi Oliver,

It's great that you're planning ahead! Here's how you can start the process of joining the British Army at 15 years and 7 months, so you're ready to enlist as soon as you finish your GCSEs:

    1. Check Eligibility: Ensure you meet the basic requirements, such as being a British citizen, a citizen of the Republic of Ireland, or a Commonwealth citizen with indefinite leave to remain in the UK.
    2. Start Your Application: You can begin your application online through the British Army's official recruitment website. At 15 years and 7 months, you can start the process, but you won't be able to attend the assessment centre until you're at least 15 years and 9 months old.
    3. Parental Consent: Since you're under 18, you'll need parental consent to join the Army. Make sure to discuss your plans with your parents or guardians and get their support.
    4. Army Foundation College (AFC): If you're under 17 years and 6 months, you'll attend the Army Foundation College in Harrogate. This college provides a unique opportunity to combine military training with education, helping you develop both your soldiering skills and academic qualifications.
    5. Prepare for Assessment: Focus on your fitness and health to meet the Army's standards. You can find fitness guides and practice tests on the Army's website to help you prepare.
    6. Complete Your GCSEs: While you're preparing to join the Army, make sure to focus on your studies and complete your GCSEs. Good grades will help you in your future Army career, especially if you plan to apply as an officer later on.
    7. Attend the Assessment Centre: Once you're eligible, you'll be invited to an assessment centre where you'll undergo medical and fitness tests, as well as interviews.

    Hope this helps :)
