I'm okay
Hello, thank you for your question.
There are different requirements for different roles, e.g. education and fitness. My advice is to speak to your recruiter as soon as possible to discuss the options if you would like to change your role. If you have already been to Assessment Centre and you are considering changing roles you may just need to revisit to take some further tests required for RMP, but again your recruiter can confirm this for you.
It's not impossible so go for the career you want.
Wishing you luck 😀
Thank you very much, why is it taking too long for the army to get back to me after my interview?
Hi Thomas,
This will be down to communications between yourself and your Lead recruiter.
i assume you have access to their details on your candidate portal?
With my AOR we call all of our candidates as much or as little as each individual prefers. If you want a call a couple of times every week, thats fine we are able to accommodate.
In my experience if someone is being proactive and responds to all our calls and messages, we can get your application, career discussion and Army Brief complete within a week at the most. Several weeks wait at most for the Assessment centre and as long as it's not Royal Engineers (as we currently have too many in the pipeline that capbadge) and assuming your med docs and criminal record are squeaky clean which massively speeds up the process within a few weeks we can get you allocated to the next Basic training in take.
