Good afternoon,
Following achieving the entry requirements the process of application begins at the Army Officer Selection Board (AOSB). Here you are assessed as to your suitability. Some of the experience you have from the Navy could prove beneficial in terms of the planning exercises, base level fitness and the interviews. Beyond your prior experience in similar tasks you would not get an easier time because of your previous service. There is a standard that must be achieved regardless of prior experience. You will really come into your own once in training where your prior experience of a military structure will give you less of a shock and allow you to focus on learning fewer new skills. It is here were you might have a head start over your peers
I hope this helps.
