Drone operations, both small and large are already undertaken by the British Army. Small UAS are used in both the reconnaissance as well as FPV role. Many regiments are trialing how they can be best utilised for a multitude of uses so there is no specific regiment you would be guaranteed to use them in. I have seen them being trialed in both the Infantry and Armoured Corps.
In more of a social aspect a number of regiments have FPV racing teams and you are able to use some financial benefits to pay for civilian drone quals. This is something i have done.
