Hello, the Army and the Infantry is an inherently a dangerous profession and comes with a certain amount of risk. However, because of this there are really robust protective measures in place both during training and on Operations to make sure our people are as safe as possible. This includes making sure that people are properly qualified and issuing soldiers with proper protective equipment. You will also deploy alongside people you know and trust which is very reassuring.
