It is possible to join the British Army with a speech impediment, but it depends on the severity and type of the impediment. Candidates are assessed on a case-by-case basis.
During the application process, candidates undergo medicals and interviews, only this process will determine the decision. From my experience within the Army, I have a few friends that have speech impediments and I think If your speech impediment does not significantly hinder communication, it is possible to be accepted.
You should contact an Armey Careers Centre or check the British Army's official recruitment website for more specific guidance and to discuss your own individual circumstances.
