I want to join up as a medic/nurse in the army and wanted to ask as i've heard rumours. I'm 15 at the moment and currently deciding my career.
Hello Chloe,
So for CMTs the answer is no as they do not attend university, you would attend somewhere called Defence Medical Services Whittington for roughly 30 weeks.
To join as a Nurse you can join as either Adult Health or Mental Health Nurse for this route you can indeed be paid through university and gain a degree without student debt. You would attend BCU after completion of basic training.
I hope this has helped.
