Luca, the answer is yes, maths is essential to the course and the Aircraft Technician trade course is especially maths heavy. A strong grasp of maths backed up with the relevant GCSE grades is essential. This does not mean that the course is impossible though. If you have the required GCSE grades and the determination there is no reason why you shouldn't be successful.
