Why do you have to 17 years and 6 months to join the RMP?

    Hi Adam,

    Because of the nature of their role, you must be 18 to do it so hence the need for that starting age which will cover the Phase 1 and 2 prior to 18.

    Thank you, my daughter is a school leaver this year and it’s something she really wants to do. She is 17 in December so going to apply then.

    Hi sorry to be a pain but what is the in take like for the RMP? I worry when she apply’s she might not get in and have wasted a year waiting.

    Hi Adam,

    Not at all, it's a good question. At present, we up to 140 soldiers a year as RMP Soldiers and there are spaces all throughout the year. This year there have been spaces on every RMP intake into Pirbright.
