Hello,
Deployments are a bit of a lottery so it would depend on where you're posted. Being an Officer in the British Army comes with the expectation of being able to perform your role anywhere in the world.
Deployment is not unrewarded, though: you'll get extra pay and leave in return. This is in addition to the leave that will be saved from being deployed (e.g. you may not have taken Easter leave, so you'll still have those leave days) and the money you save from being deployed (you won't be paying for food or accommodation while you're deployed, and most companies will let you take a break in the contract if you're not using their services).
