All the pre requisite fitness requirements are on the role finder on the Army website as they vary based upon a variety of roles.

They have never been easier to be able to apply. Is the Army easy? Absolutely not! Prepare to excel in Basic Training and you will enjoy the experience as you build up your fitness. Fail to prepare and if you are successful through tough determination. Then the Army will built you up the required standard.

Eyesight absolutely matters, as we have to be able to see very well to do the job we are entrusted with.

Some roles require more so such as Pilot or Sniper that being said good eye sight certainly plays a key requirement.

I certainly wouldn't aim to deter you from making an application. As really, the only way to know is by applying and having the professional medical team assess you.
