This is the role I am going for
Hi,
Despite being in the Royal Engineers, I have not served within the Geo Regiment. From what I do know it is quite a niche yet very interesting place to work. It is very busy and the Geo Techs seemed to be deployed a lot supporting operations and exercises in very small teams working within a headquarters. It is high profile and important support that the Geo cell gives to the headquarters. Unfortunately I have no idea what an average day would be like - on exercise (like I've described above) and in barracks probably a mixture of training, equipment maintenance and PT.
Hope that helps a bit - sorry I don't know more.
