Currently trying to get myself fitter for the reserve infantry and was wondering when other fellas do their running work? I personally prefer doing it at night when it's darker as I have more energy and feel like I can go the extra mile/cover more ground, but is this considered "cheating" in a way?
I'm sure the internet will be full of scientific reasons on when to train. Personal I train before work and roll straight into PT with the team for no other reason than its convenient. I also loose motivation as the day goes and i eat.
If running in the evening works for you, fine. the key thing is your doing something.
