Hi there,
You can leave at any point during training (which lasts a year) however once you Commission you must serve no less than 3 years. You can obviously continue should you wish but after this time the notice period is 1 year. before you exist the service. It can be shorter but requires exceptional circumstances and to be signed off by your Chain of Command.
In the three years you serve, barring any issues you can expect to reach the rank of Captain.
