Hello Jayden,
I've been an infantry officer for nearly 10 years and think its one of the most exciting and rewarding jobs in the Army. You're trusted with a lot of responsibility and have the privilege to lead exceptional people. Your pay will rise incrementally every year with a sharper increase when you promote so there's plenty of opportunity for development. Generally you will live mon-fri in barracks but will have weekends off to do what you want. If you are married, in a long term-relationship or have children you can apply for a house close to where you work for you and your family to live in. The only exception to this is if you are posted overseas on operations which will likely happen ever 5 years or so - more often if you volunteer for additional tours.
You'll need to go through the application process and complete the Army Officer Selection board, which can take a few months. Then you'll spend a year in the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst receiving training before you commission and lead soldiers.
I hope that helps, let me know if you have any other questions.
