Hello,
In regards to the male:female ratio, the Army Medical Services do very well. I recently worked at the Defence Medical Rehabilitation Centre and the majority of serving physiotherapists there were women.
I enjoy working for the AMS, and would recommend it.
One of our female army physiotherapists has just gone on an expedition to Antarctica. She was recently featured in the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy https://www.csp.org.uk/frontline/article/pushing-boundaries-military-physio
I hope that helps!
