    Good afternoon,

Being a Girl in the Army affords you no different treatment then anyone else.

We all have the same standards and all have the same roles respectively. We are unified by the uniform, so your gender will not effect your career stream.

Day to day life can be vastly different based on which job spec you'd look at being aligned to. Specialist trades like the REME or RLC have the largest freedom of movement worldwide because of the job roles within. Roles and experiences go well beyond out role on paper. Sports, Ops, exercises, 2nd to none for opportunities!

Then again looking at more Combat based roles that are typically trained to a higher standard field Soldier, might travel the world enhancing their fighting skills in collaboration with NATO forces, anti poaching to Trooping the Colour then next day.

I'd encourage you to research them on the Army website, Job roles/finder. Also on You tube, Search Army Jobs. They have alot of interesting videos on day to day in a variety of roles across the Army. All roles have fantastic opportunities, but some roles have more then others, each have there own strengths.
