Sometimes, it's important to prioritise what you truly want over what others expect of you. I would recommend taking the time to sit down and carefully weigh the positives and negatives.

From personal experience, my partner hasn’t always wanted me to be away, as she naturally misses me during deployments. However, she understands the commitment I’ve made to the British Army and recognises that this is the career path I’ve chosen.

Ultimately, the decision has to be yours. A career in the Army can be a short chapter in your life or a long-term commitment spanning 20 years or more. It is a significant undertaking, but the Ministry of Defence recognises this and provides support not only to soldiers but also to their families.

Hi Matthew thank you for your message, it’s just I’ve wanted to be in the army since I was younger age then I met my gf we have been together for 3 years now.. but the army keeps calling my name lol and yes I would love to go through the benefits if that is possible thank you.
