Hello. If you join as an infantry solider you will do both phase one and two together at The Infantry Training Centre Catterick. Where as most soldiers will do 13 weeks infantry soldiers will do the Combat Infantry Course lasting 28 weeks before moving onto their regiment. The Combat Infantry Course builds up skills and fitness at a gradual pace. This involves learning individual skills first, followed by Section and then Platoon skills, ending with an assessment in all subjects of which you have to be able to pass.
