When we do the Army Fitness Test we have 11kg on our backs and our rifle so equaling 15kg.

Different areas of the army have different weights for the TAB.

But there is build up training before the actual fitness test part.

Al non-GCC Ground Close Combat roles carry the same. 15Kg in total, 8 miles in 2 hours. This is however currently under review and the tests are going to be made more role specific. But for now, the original standard remains.
