That's a really important question and it is fantastic you are asking it. Basic training is a very busy time and there is usually less flexibility during that period of your service so it might be important to consider your start date and how that aligns with your family's timetable.
Once you have completed trade training, there are lots of ways in which the Army can support you, from the amount of leave it can offer for you to be with your newborn and the housing it will provide to keep a roof over your heads, to the ways you can adjust your working contract to give you more time at home and financial support with schooling.
