Thanks for the question,
To become a direct entry pilot you will need to join as an officer and get selected at Sandhurst to join the Army Air Corps as a pilot, to become an officer you require 72 UCAS points and 35 ALIS points from 7 GCSEs (including minimum grade C/4 in English, Maths and a science or foreign language). You do not require a degree. you will need to be aged between 18-28.

Should you wish to become a SNCO pilot you will require no qualifications, however you will have to have served a minimum amount of time anywhere in the Army as a soldier, this amount of time will depend as you just need to reach your first recommendation for promotion which on average takes around 3/4 years. To join as a soldier you need to be aged between 16-35 and 11 months, however you must be on your pilots course by the age of 28.
For both direct entry officer pilot and SNCO soldier pilot you must pass a CBAT aircrew aptitude test, flight grading test, aircrew medical and interview boards.
Hope this helps.
