For the most part, Army life with a long term relationship is really good (I am married with two children).
Through training, it will be hard because you will miss them but once you pass out of training, you will get to see them most weekends unless you have an activity on.
You will finish most evenings at 5 in the evening and you will be able to speak to your partner then and also through the day when you have a moment to yourself.
Phone assess will be difficult in training as you will be busy from the moment you wake up until the moment you go to sleep so you won't have much time to use your phone.
Once you are married (if this is the plan), you will have the choice to move your partner into an Army house that you can have for the duration that your Unit is in that location.
