Jed your trade makes up the majority of you day with Soldier training tasks such as fitness and Battlefield syllabus planned throughout the working week and this is mostly true too for deployments and exercises. That said there is opportunity to work in roles outside of your trade for example I am a HR specialist but for my current role as an Army recruiter I do not use my trade training often.
