Hi Adam, yes it's a fantastic role. I've been in the Army for 29 years and now work in the recruitment part. The first 22 years of my career was armoured cavalry and I miss it very much, but my career has moved on. If I were a younger person joining all over again I would go for the same job role. Being part of an armoured vehicle crew and eventually a vehicle commander was the best time I've had in the Army. Look at the info online or call into your local careers office if close by if you have any general questions. My advice is apply if you have not done so already as its a long process to get through and go for this role as in my view it is one of the best we offer.
