Hi Gabriel,
So Digital Marketing, e-commerce and CRM are not specific roles within the Army. Contractors and Civil Servants are employed to do this along side soldiers who are posted into a role that requires it. There are a few opportunities to do this in the Army but they are open to everyone to undertake as a generalist. This makes it very hard to guarantee you are able to do this consistently because so many people are able to apply for the role. I have managed it but compared to the size of the Army there are relatively very few who have managed it.
Units usually have a digital presence and often this is managed by volunteers. As for software development, in my experience it is often civilian contractors and companies that are tasked with this.
Hope this helps and sorry if it's not what you wanted to hear.
Thank you for the feedback, Robert.
And yes, your feedback helped.
