A biomedical scientist is part of the Royal Army Medical Corps (RAMC) i have never met one in my 8 year career as of yet to my knowledge they are usually attached to the Joint Hospital Group (JHG) allowing them to work within labs in hospitals you may occasionally see them attached to field hospitals but you would find this vary rare.
