Good Morning and thanks for your question,
The Army has a huge range of facilities they provide for all its soldiers no matter where they are in the world.
This can vary slightly depending on where you are and the situation at the time, but usually you will always have some form of gym or place to conduct Physical training , a dining facility, a place for you to buy any extra snacks/drinks and anything else you need.
Back in the UK, you will always have these facilities for you to use, with the gym in particular usually having 24hrs access with no extra cost either. This also includes sporting facilities, such as astro turf pitches, swimming centres, squash courts, and much more.
In general, the Army will always provide for you what you need, be that accommodation, food, space and equipment for exercising and so much more. So you can rest assured that whilst on deployment you will still get access to these too and will be provided for very well indeed.
Hope this helps, if you have any more questions then feel free to ask, or get in contact with your local Army Careers Centre.
Would it be too some kind of computer room or reading room, for more quiet and studying times?
Hi Caroline, thanks for your question.
Of course, not only do each of the accommodation blocks have their own common room, but there are also computer/tv/games rooms available on camp to utilise.
As well as this, the army also offers an extensive library service with a huge range of books for our soldiers to take out on long term, all for free.
These aren't the only places either. Each of our soldiers will always have their own room which they can have some privacy and somewhere to keep all of their belongings and make their own. This includes an en suite shower and toilet, so they will always have their own place to make as homely as possible.
Hope this helps
