What is support like in training
Not everyone is at the same level of fitness throughout phase 1 or phase 2 training.
The physical training instructors are experienced and understand this.
You will be supported throughout training with everything.
For example, if you cannot conduct a press up or swim you will be taught everything prior to conducting any exercises. If you cannot swim you will be taught separately or given swimming aids to help.
This applies to everything such as carrying kit or even attacking an assault course with your section.
Everything will be taught in slow time before being allowed to attempt
I hope this helps

Hi Clarissa,
Thanks for your question.
All training in the Army is progressive. So long as you can achieve the entry standards and continue to work hard throughout training then you’ll be just fine.
The aim of the training is to get you to the standard required to be a soldier or officer. If you’re concerned that you might struggle with the fitness it’s always a good idea to train up before you get to training. Have a look at the Army website for some advice and exercises to help you on your way.
