Hello, what is the difference between an Infantry solider and a guardsman infantry? Thank you

A guardsman is an infantry soldier, However When we’re not on exercise or operation, we have the honour of guarding the royal palaces all across the country.
All 5 guards regiments have different roles and responsibilities. For example, the welsh guards are a light role infantry battalion where as the Scots guards are an armoured infantry battalion that deploy with warrior tanks
