What is the best way for my 16year old daughter to join the army to be a doctor/ helping on the battlefield??

She is looking at going to sixth form to complete the relevant A Levels, rather than joining the army at 16- as we seem to have been advised this would be better ? A Levels chosen : Biology, Chemistry, Maths. But we are a little confused still with the pathways. Any advice welcome please!

Doctors dont often work on the front line as their main role is in hospitals or primary health care settings. If its frontline work that they are interested in it may be worth looking at the CMT role instead. If she still wishes to go the doctor route then they are good subjects to study to be able to get into university and you would then have to join as an officer s it is an officer only role. As this is a specailist area you will be allocated a recruiter who will guide you through the application process. The majority of information can be found on the page below i have also added the link for CMT to so both roles can be explored. If you have any more questions beyond what information is provided here and below feel free to contact the NRC on 0345 600 80 80 for more information and guidance.
