Hi, many thanks for your question and it's a question we get asked often. Unfortunately every individual is different and would depend on a number of individual factors; medication, time on medication etc etc. On occasions where medically an individual is unsuccessful in their application sometimes it's possible to over turn a medical decision with supporting evidence. The majority of cases where individuals suffer from mental health conditions however wouldn't be accepted into the Army unfortunately. This is due to a duty of care given the nature of the Army; the training our soldiers undertake and the job roles etc. My advice would be speak to someone in your local careers office or apply and see what happens when they enter their med details.
