There are a number of pre-requisites and these occasionally change, but currently you need to a minimum rank of Lance Corporal with a recommendation for promotion to Corporal (which is likely to take a minimum of 5 years), be able to start flying training by your 30th birthday and of course pass three aircrew selection tests and an interview board.
