Pet Ops aren’t just in one location, you might be employed in 66 Fuel and General Transport Squadron in 9 Regt RLC in Hullavington, or in a Logistic Support Squadron as part of Commando Logistic Regiment Royal Marines in Chivenor, for example. Where you’ll be based will depend on where Army needs you most, but you do get to select preferences. So, for example, if there's a particular unit or area in the UK that you want to go to, you can say so and it will be considered.
As for boxing: absolutely. Sports are encouraged in the Army and boxing is no different.
