After your phase 2 training you will go to your unit. Depending on what regiment/corps you are going to will determine the location, you will be told this well in advance. If infantry units tend to stay in a location for approx 5 years where as corps get attached to a unit so you could move around every 2/3 years.
Once you pass out as a fully trained soldier you will be on increment level 1, this will rise every year and max out at certain levels per rank
Hope this helps

okay so lats say you would do infantry soldier then after all training complete, you then want to get more knowledge on combatand more "war" like roles, and then decide to go to PARAS is this possible or do i have to wait like 2,3 years ?
The paras deploy on the same amount of operational tours as most infantry regiments. Generally every few years depending on the operational requirement of the brigade.
If you intend on joining the Paras, do it from the off to see if you have what is required or if you had another regiment in mind, depending which one you could try out for all arms p company and then put your transfer papers in if you were successful.
The guards have a guards parachute platoon who are based on Colchester that work with 3 para.
Hope this helps
