What happens after infantry training? Will I have any input on where i go next? What if i want to leave after training?
Im scared of leaving my family behind, they will worry, especially if im in a foreign country for months.

Hi there and great question. During basic training you will be given the opportunity to express and interest as to the Infantry Regiment you would like to join, whether that be by Role/Capability, Geographical location or Regiment. On completion of basic training you would Join your Regiment and would have to complete a minimum of 4 years service before you could leave.
