As a legal officer you first do your Professionally Qualified Officers Course at Sandhurst. This covers your basic military skills, tactics and leadership training. On completion of this, you will do an attachment with an army unit as an officer. This will involve working alongside other officers in their training, deployments and mess life. This can be from three months but is often a little longer.
