It will feel different to everyone depending on there reason for joining. and the feeling will change throughout your time in the Army as you and it change.
I have served almost 16 years now. I have felt a range of emotions over that time. Up and Downs.
But sticking though the harder times makes you a stronger, better soldier and individual.
