Morning,
A normal day in the Infantry would start with about an hour of physical training, which could be strength and conditioning, cardio or even sports. In barracks we would then focus on basic soldiering skills and maintaining our equipment. So you might find yourself in the classroom learning about the characteristics of a General Purpose Machine Gun or on the ranges firing one. In the Royal welsh we normally go on exercise about once a month, where we would stay out in the field to practise our tactical skills in a more realistic environment.
We also use Warrior armoured vehicles; so we spend some of our time maintaining those and learning how to drive them or getting to grips with the 30mm cannon and chaingun attached to the turret!
I hope this was helpful, let me know if you would like more info.
Doesn’t it get to the point where your just learning the same stuff over and over again
